Stowe Hill started with a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. We wanted the pieces you grab without thinking: the top that goes with everything, the sweater that still looks good after the tenth wash, and the layer that turns jeans into an outfit.
So that's what we make. These are soft basics, cozy knits and easy layers in clean, timeless shapes. We pick every piece for three things: how it fits, how it feels, and how it holds up after real life, not just on the hanger.
Why 26 colors?
A great basic should work with everything you own. Our Classic Basic Top comes in 26 shades, from crisp white to burgundy, so you can find your favorite or collect them all.

We're a small shop that ships from Lakewood, New Jersey. When you email us, a real person writes back, usually within one business day.
